What is WWW Redirection? Simply its making www.yourdomain.com point to www.someothersite.com. There are two ways this redirection can be accomplished:
Using DNS
If the web site you are redirecting to has its own IP address AND you want the new domain to appear as a mirror site, we can accomplish this using name services.
Virtual Redirection
If the web site you are redirecting to does NOT have its own IP address OR you want to change the path to the destination web site in someway, you must use what we call "Virtual Redirection".
Using this method we actually accept the requests for the new domain, rewrite them, and pass the correct address to fetch back to the requesting browser.
We charge $5 per month for this service (no setup fees).
If you are unsure which category your situation falls into, write Customer Service.
Include the domain name you want to redirect and where you want it redirected and we'll let you know what is involved.
Please Note: Nestegg, LLC does not condone the practice of redirecting domains to web sites owned by others. If you do not
own the web site you are redirecting to, you should obtain permission from the web site owner prior to contacting us.
